The Format

RWC's multi-track format lets teams compete independently or rally multiple teams under one university banner for combined standings and institutional pride.

Who Can Participate

Open to all university students. Teams of 3–5 members, with up to one graduate student per team.

Combat Robotics

Build. Battle. Dominate.

The ultimate test of engineering prowess. Design and build robots to compete in destructive head-to-head battles. Teams must balance offensive power, defensive armor, and strategic maneuvering to claim victory in the arena.

Tactical Capture the Flag

A strategic 2v2 robotics competition where autonomous and semi-autonomous robots compete to capture flags from enemy territory while defending their own. Combines navigation, coordination, and real-time decision making.

Advanced Sumo

Detect. Push. Prevail.

A precision battle of control systems and pushing power. Robots must detect opponents, navigate the arena, and push competitors out of the ring. Tests sensor integration, motor control, and strategic programming.
