By accessing or using the RoboNexus website, mobile app, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, app users, and participants of RoboNexus events, competitions, and online platforms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

Account requirements and responsibilities differ based on how you use our services:
For Event Visitors
Mobile AppPurpose
The App is intended for visitors of the RoboNexus event to view schedules and match results.
Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information (Name and Email) during registration.
Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify the technical committee immediately of any unauthorized use.
For Competing Teams
Website OnlyRegistration
Teams must provide complete and accurate information including team member details, university affiliation, and robot specifications.
Team Responsibility
Team leaders are responsible for their team members' compliance with all terms and competition rules.
Account Security
Maintain confidentiality of team account credentials. Report any unauthorized access immediately to event organizers.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. Specific guidelines apply to each platform:
Mobile App Users
Visitor AppLawful Use
Use the App only for lawful purposes related to the RoboNexus event.
No Interference
Do not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the App's servers or networks (via Supabase or otherwise).
No Automation
Do not use any automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the App.
No Bypass
Do not attempt to bypass any security measures or access data not intended for you.
Website Users
Competition PlatformLawful Purpose
Use the website only for registration, competition-related activities, and legitimate event purposes.
No Harmful Content
Do not transmit harmful content or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
System Integrity
Do not interfere with website functionality or engage in activities that violate applicable laws.
Data Integrity
Do not submit false information or attempt to manipulate competition data or registrations.
Competition Rules
Website OnlyParticipation in RoboNexus competitions is subject to specific rulebooks and guidelines published for each competition track. By registering, you agree to abide by all applicable competition rules, safety requirements, and the decisions of judges and officials.
Competition rules may be updated before events. Participants are responsible for reviewing the latest versions. Any violation of competition rules may result in disqualification, and decisions by event officials are final.
Intellectual Property
All content on the RoboNexus website and app, including text, graphics, logos, UI design, match data, and software, is the property of RoboNexus organizers and tech committee and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission. Participants retain ownership of their robot designs and innovations, but grant RoboNexus the right to photograph, film, and showcase entries for promotional purposes.
Service Disclaimer & Liability
RoboNexus and KFUPM shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Specific disclaimers apply:
Mobile App
Visitor ExperienceAs-Is Service
The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee real-time accuracy of match results or schedules.
Technical Issues
The RoboNexus tech committee is not liable for technical failures, data loss, or inability to access the App due to network issues at the venue.
Limited Damages
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Competition Participation

Robotics competitions involve inherent risks. Participants assume responsibility for their safety and equipment.
Insurance
We recommend appropriate insurance coverage and adherence to all safety guidelines during events.
Liability Cap
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited across all platforms: tampering with competition equipment or app systems, sabotaging other participants, submitting false information during registration, harassment of staff or other participants, and any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Violations may result in immediate disqualification from competitions, suspension of app access, ban from future events, and potential legal action. We reserve the right to remove anyone from our events or platforms who engages in prohibited activities.
Termination of Use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the website, app, or any RoboNexus services at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or disrupted the event experience for others.
Upon termination, your right to use the services will immediately cease. Any provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our website, app features (such as upcoming point systems), or services. Any significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
By using our services, you consent to this jurisdiction and agree to resolve any disputes through appropriate legal channels as defined by Saudi Arabian law.
